How PureFlow works

Real filtration, made genuinely simple. Here's exactly what happens to your water — and how to set it up in minutes.

Inside the cartridge

Multi-stage carbon filtration

As you pour, your tap water passes through layers that each do a specific job — capturing particles and adsorbing the chemicals that affect taste, smell and safety.

1

Pre-filter mesh

Traps larger particles — sediment, rust flakes and grit — so they never reach your glass.

2

Activated carbon block

A dense carbon core adsorbs chlorine, the chemicals behind that "pool" taste and odour, and many organic contaminants.

3

Fine polishing layer

A final fine stage helps reduce microplastics and remaining fine particulate for a clean, crisp finish.

PureFlow is a point-of-use filter designed to reduce taste, odour and a broad range of contaminants. It is not a water softener and is not intended to treat unsafe, untested or non-mains water.

Set up in minutes

Installing PureFlow, step by step

No plumber, no power tools, no mess. Here's the whole process.

1

Check your tap

PureFlow fits most rounded Australian taps with a 15–25 mm outlet. It won't fit flat taps or pull-out hose/spray taps — if your main tap doesn't suit, a laundry or secondary tap works perfectly.

2

Remove the plastic wrap

Important: unscrew the housing and remove the protective plastic from the cartridge before first use, or water will spray off it. (This is the #1 tip from our customers!)

3

Fit the right adapter

Choose the adapter from the universal kit that matches your tap thread, then hand-tighten. A butter knife is the only tool you might occasionally need.

4

Twist on & switch

Screw PureFlow onto the adapter, turn your tap on gently, and flip the diverter to filtered mode. That's it — cleaner water on demand.

Get it right first time

Quick tips from our customers

A few small things make installation foolproof. These come straight from real PureFlow owners.

The cartridge ships sealed in plastic. Remove it before installing or the water will bounce off and spray. It's the single most common first-time hiccup — and easily avoided.

Test-fit the adapters before tightening. The right one should seat snugly with no wobble. Watch our short install video if you're unsure which to use.

Firm and snug is enough. Over-tightening can distort the seal. If you see a drip, loosen slightly and re-seat the washer.

Use filtered mode for drinking and cooking, and flip to unfiltered for dishes and rinsing — this makes your cartridge last longer.
